AP2 - Seal - Oil Filter Centre Bolt Automatic (all) Mini - 17H1173 - 17H2442

Fits under the special washer to hold the canister filter to the filter head on auto Minis, Austin 1100, Austin 1300, Allegro 1275 and Metro range to 1990

Changing this seal avoids the damage that a hardened seal will cause to the filter bowl.

This is the 2 gaskets that are between the mating faces of the engine and transmission

How do you tell if this is the correct gasket for your engine ? check the engine, if it has an oil pipe on the front from the filter head diagonally upwards towards the converter end of the engine ? If yes then this is the correct Gasket set, if no then you need the "MPi" later type with the extra hole.
