AP2 Late Unit with Park & Carbon friction discs and bands
3 plates in both clutch packs this is to the later spec as used on SPi models, as it will transmit more torque, the carbon frictions and bands will increase the torque capacity.
This unit has the later A+ larger idler bearing (Diameter 22.225mm)
But is NOT for the MPi block if you want to use your MPi block then we would need your transmission to rebuild,.
Standard comes with the 2.76:1 final drive, we can change this to any of the available standard ratio;s, 3.48:1, 3.27:1 .. or we can supply you with a bespoke Crownwheel and pinion that would be SC but comes with a far greater range or final drive ratios.
This unit also comes fitted with a cross pin diff unit for extra reliability and safety, if you want an LSD that can be fitted at extra cost.
We can also supply our own timken style drop gears for the automatic currently in the standard ratios available but others will be made as requested.
Straight Cut Tansfer (Drop) gears are available in conventional and Roller bearing types
Our own filter system and oil cooler can also be fitted to this unit, ask for details.
